THE CREATIONS
Custom Jack-O-Lanterns, skulls, skeletons and more. HORROR GOURDS was born in 2025 from my desire to have my own custom Halloween decor: however, I decided that these creations were better off being offered to the masses, for everyone to enjoy, and not just for Halloween, but year round. All creations are one-of-a-kind and can be customized to your personal need. The themes can range from deadly clowns to sea creatures or fantasy icons. Drop me a line and we can discuss.
THE GOURDS
Custom Jack-O-Lanterns that are fabricated from various materials including: clay, foam, wire frames, liquid latex, vinyl, wood, acrylic paint and different lighting sources. The Jack-O-Lanterns are sealed with a rubberized coating before being painted. A gloss finish is then applied.
There are twelve different themes to chose from for the Gourds, ranging from Cheshire Cats to evil snowmen to the KRAKEN- an underwater sea creature. Although their are specific themes to chose from, every individual jack-o-lantern is one of a kind. These are not recreated from molds, therefore each snowman made, for example, will not be exactly alike,
Customization is also offered for each Jack-O-Lantern as well. If you want GUMBUS for example(pictured to the left) but you want a different color scheme, then call out your specifics when ordering.
All creations come with a minimum of a 5-watt internal light source but can also include LED lighting. Click below to explore the different HORROR GOURDS that are offered.
THE SKELETONS
The Skeletons and other creations are a rather new line offered at HORROR GOURDS. Custom fabricated using the same basic methods as the GOURDS, the skeletons consist of a hard framed substructure, coated with liquid latex, clay, resin, acrylic paint, gloss or matte finish….and fake blood on the gore skeletons.
Options for the skeletons include either mummies or gore choices, with or without clothing(added pricing) and functional marionette versions as well.
Customization is also offered for each skeleton as well. If you want a mummy for example(pictured to the left) but you want a different clothing option, then call out your specifics when ordering.
And alas, HORROR GOURDS proudly showcases a line of authentic voodoo doll creations, hand crafted by New Orleans artisans, on our sister site, MIRRORSIMAGE.COM
